CP-ADV

When SEM introduces CP-ADV, there is no PP level above the CP-ADV. This is not exactly like the English corpora, PPCME2, PPCEME, etc. SEM simply occupied the C position of a CP-ADV, and the CP-ADV is immediately dominated by the phrase that it modifies, as in the following example:

When other subordinators introduce adverbial clauses, e.g. EF or ÞEGAR, the subordinator is tagged P, it projects a PP and takes a CP-ADV complement, as in the following example:
