EINS OG
EINS is a comparative adverb, ADVR. When there is an overt ADJ head in the EINS OG construction, EINS projects ADJP (OG in this construction always projects PP). If there is no overt ADJ head in the EINS OG construction, EINS still projects an ADJP if an ADJ is implied (unexpressed), though we do not overtly indicate a null ADJ in the annotation.
So EINS in John er eins (ADJ góður) og Bill projects ADJP whether the ADJ is expressed or not.
EINS OG is always treated as taking a full clausal comparative, parallel to comparatives with EN: CP-CMP#EN_(BETUR_EN_(CP-CMP)_...). This is true even if only a single (nominative) NP follows OG, as below. Thus, "eins og Bill" is treated as parallel to "eins og Bill er".
