This study examines the Icelandic CP and shows that the same type of Icelandic evidence that was used to argue for the case-marking of PRO can also be used to detect the case-marking of CP. Floating quantifiers show overt morphological agreement with a corresponding CP, suggesting that CP is case-marked. The findings have consequences for any theory of the distribution of case features.
